TIME FOR SOUL CENTER!

Please see post below regarding the Soul Center Community Service Project! If you have any of these items lying around your house, please bring them to Soul Center on Sept. 16th to help those who need the items more than you do! CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU!

About Us

Soul Center is a non-profit organization where people of all abilities (with and without disabilities) can share their time and talents.

Conceived and founded by Karen Morgan-Kennard, a former special education teacher, the Soul Center provides social and community service opportunities to people age 14 and older. She envisioned an organization where young people with and without disabilities could come together to learn from each other, gain life skills, share good times and give back to their community. Soul Center began in July 2004 and has steadily gained momentum building strong friendships and partnerships in the community. Time, talent and monetary contributions are the lifeblood of this organization which enriches the lives of so many young people.

Currently, events are held one Sunday a month from 3-6pm. Interactive social activities, pizza (or another meal) and a community service project are normally the focus. Approximately 30 people attend each event.
