Upcoming event dates and TIME CHANGE!!!

Hello all:). The upcoming SC dates are June 30th, July 28th and August 18th. THE EVENTS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SCHEDULED FROM 4-7. ALL EVENTS WILL NOW BE HELD FROM 3-6. Please use this blog for SC news as I'm having trouble with the web design on the SC website. I will be updating the site or designing something new soon. Take care and see you soon!

About Us

Soul Center is a non-profit organization where people of all abilities (with and without disabilities) can share their time and talents.

Conceived and founded by Karen Morgan-Kennard, a former special education teacher, the Soul Center provides social and community service opportunities to people age 14 and older. She envisioned an organization where young people with and without disabilities could come together to learn from each other, gain life skills, share good times and give back to their community. Soul Center began in July 2004 and has steadily gained momentum building strong friendships and partnerships in the community. Time, talent and monetary contributions are the lifeblood of this organization which enriches the lives of so many young people.

Currently, events are held one Sunday a month from 3-6pm. Interactive social activities, pizza (or another meal) and a community service project are normally the focus. Approximately 30 people attend each event.
